Become a DRC PRODUCER MEMBER
Thank you for your interest in the Deep Roots Coalition. We are always looking for the support and participation of new producers in the dry farming cause. If you are a winery and would like to join us, please provide your contact details below. We will reply with more information. We accept applications from US-based wineries with a minimum of three years of production for membership.
All members adhere to the following criteria:
1. Members may not grow or purchase grapes from irrigated vineyards. This applies to all AVAs.
2. Members strive to produce wines of merit that demonstrate the principles associated with the Deep Roots Coalition. These include reduced yields and adherence to one of several low-impact viticultural programs (LIVE, Organic, Biodynamic, Salmon-Safe, etc.).
3. Members commit to educating the public with regard to responsible water management practices and sustainable farming. To this end, members are encouraged to collect data and anecdotes on irrigated versus non-irrigated vineyards in order to facilitate a rational discussion on the issue of water use.
